Defiant Kathy Griffin flaunts her body in leather dress amid backlash for simulating oral sex live on CNN

Kathy Griffin has been coming under fire for her New Year's Eve antics in Times Square.
But the defiant comedian had a wide smile on hr face as she arrived for her appearance on the David Letterman show in a sprayed on leather dress and glitzy gold heels in New York on Wednesday.
Seemingly pleased with the attention she appeared immune to the backlash caused by simulating oral sex on co-host Anderson Cooper live on CNN.

The saucy comic - known for her outlandish and unpredictable TV shenanigans -  also cracked a string of lewd jokes that left viewers flabbergasted on New Year's Eve.
During the build up to midnight TV personality Kathy shocked viewers with her loaded gags and heavy innuendo, referring to Cooper's 'sack' and calling the fiscal cliff negotiations in Washington the 'fisting cliffs'.
But it was after the ball dropped at midnight that the 52-year-old got really carried away.

She dropped to her knees and repeatedly kissed the Silver Fox's crotch over and over again to the point where Anderson desperately tried to cover up the suggestive act by asking her if she dropped something.
'No I was kissing your sardine,' she replied.
As he tried to lift her to her feet, Kathy continued to try to kiss his crotch saying: 'I can do this all night long' and 'I'm going down. You know you want to.'

However many failed to see the funny side of her antics and branded her behaviour 'vile' and 'putrid'.
Even the Parents Television Council got involved and are said to be 'fuming' over the not-so-family-friendly stunt.
The president of the organisatoin Tim Winter told TMZ that Griffin 'has shown increasing contempt for the CNN audience' and are calling for the network to drop her.

Meanwhile brazen Kathy couldn't care less it seems.
When the presenter and actress was seen hand in hand with her toy boy Randy Bick, 33, she couldn't stop grinning and looked inordinately pleased with herself.
At one point she stopped to pull her sleeveless dress down a bit and didn't seem to be feeling the New York wintry chill at all.

So far the notorious red head has kept mum about her now infamous prank.
But NYE's tomfoolery is just another in a long line of extreme gaffes by Griffin.
In 2008 she directed a graphic oral sex insult to a heckler. In 2009 she dropped the F-bomb and last year she stripped down to her underwear.
