The 67-year-old former socialite and author apparently refuses to leave her temporary accommodation after her lease ran out to rent it and is now warring with her landlord.

According to the court documents filed on February 22 in L.A. County Superior Court, the company that owns the unit at the Carlyle building, claims Candy's lease ended on January 31st and she has refused to vacate.
But in legal papers Candy filed on February 19, she says she extended the lease for six months and has paid for the month of February.

The widow of TV mogul Aaron Spelling insists she had a deal with the owner to extend her contractual agreement if building work fell behind schedule, but now she has accused him of defaulting by trying to kick her out.
She also states that she has had to spend $10,000 to fix the condo’s air conditioning and heating system, as well as pay almost double the price for utilities and share her private elevator with other tenants.
