She's one of the world's most high profile former supermodels, and Rachel Hunter certainly isn't about to let her style crown slip.
The New Zealand born star, who is usually spotted out and about dressed casually and without a scrap of make-up, proved that she's still got the ability to steal the show on the red carpet.

The 43-year-old model and actress made the most of her famously curvaceous figure in the strapless black gown, which showed off a hint of cleavage and was cut just a few inches above the knee.

 

Managing to pull of a look that was sophisticated as well as sensual, the TV presenter wore her trademark blonde hair in a loose side plait, creating a slightly bohemian feel.
Rachel paired the dress with stylish but reasonably modest black stilettos, accentuating her long, tanned legs but adding to the air of elegance.

She wore a gold, statement necklace around her neck and opted for a few simple gold bracelets around her wrists, keeping the look as simple as possible.
The star showed up to see the premiere of Paramount's new 3D animated film, Gladiators of Rome, which opened the festival.
The special screening was to honour director and producer Iginio Straffi, who is the founder of Rainbow, the successful Italian animation house.
She might be originally from New Zealand, but Rachel is a naturlised American citizen and has settle in Los Angeles with her two children from her marriage to Rod.

The former model has been getting back into her fitness regime and making more public appearances after struggling with her health last year.
She had a difficult time in 2012 and suffered from a number of maladies including a life-threatening condition that made her heart dangerously swell.
At the time the model told Hello! magazine: 'I had a cold and I just felt out of breath and a little bit weird.
'I went to a friend and said, 'Look, you need to take me to the emergency room'. I was diagnosed with myocarditis and pericarditis, which can happen when you have the flu.'
