Denise Richards the sensible single mom dotes over daughters after scolding ex-husband Charlie Sheen for staying up late on Oscars night

She spent Oscars night scolding her ex-husband Charlie Sheen publicly on Twitter to stop partying and go to bed.
But Denise Richards was back to mothering her three kids on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old was snapped carrying her youngest daughter Eloise while shepherding her two older girls Lola and Sam along after fetching them from school in Los Angeles, California.

The actress was in typical mother hen mode, chatting with her girls as she led them to her parked car on the sunny afternoon.

The Wild Things star looked effortlessly cool in baggy jeans, a black T-shirt sporting a parrot motif, and edgy black biker boots.

She smartened up the outfit with a cropped beige jacket and shielded her eyes with over-sized black sunglasses.

Denise wore her signature highlighted blonde hair in a loose side ponytail and accessorised with two gold necklaces.

Her girls looked adorable, all three dressed in pink.

Seven-year-old Lola and eight-year-old Sam wore matching pink hoodies, clearly a favorite as they've been seen wearing the same item of clothing before.

Sam wore comfortable pink UGG boots, while Lola wore pink trainers. Eloise was also dressed in pink like her big sisters, donning black trainers with a star pattern.

Denise is clearly feeling maternal at the moment.
On Sunday night, the actress engaged in a public Twitter conversation with Sheen, berating him for staying up too late.
Denise was busy clearing out her garage to make way for a playroom for her girls. While watching the Oscars broadcast at the same time, she tweeted 'you look ravishing' to ABC newscaster Robin Roberts, who recently returned to work after battling cancer.
Charlie then jumped in and tweeted 'Hash tag suck up.'
Denise, who divorced the actor in 2011, replied: 'Come help me clean the damn garage for their playroom.'
The Anger Management star then posted a picture of himself with his arm slung around a friend, tweeting 'I'm BUSY LADY, LOOK!'

Her 47-year-old ex-husband posted a second picture of himself holding a bottle of wine while he stuck his head in a kitchen drawer, with the caption 'I SAID LOOK!! c'

"Charles . . . not to be a buzzkill . . . But this is the point where the night can go sideways," tweeted the mother of his children.

But the actor didn't take her advice, and proceeded to post a series of bizarre pictures of himself with his friends, including one of him with his leg wrapped around a garbage bin, and another showing him sitting in a bathtub fully clothes.
