The 36-year-old wore a daring dress that featured see-through side panels, hinting at what lay beneath, at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie The Host, based on Twilight author Stephenie Meyers' bestselling novel of the same name.

The Inglorious Basterds star was breathtaking in the black sequined dress, which revealed the side of her body, including her bust, through a floral sheer material as she posed with her longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson.

The frock was also lined by the see-through fabric on the bottom, flaunting her toned thighs.

The blonde wore equally unusual blue heels that appeared to be made out of a punctured gold and blue metal.

The German-born actress wore her long blonde hair dead-straight and severely sleeked down on the top, which only highlighted the star's flawless features.
She added a touch of sparkle with glamorous diamond earrings that hung from her dainty ears.
Diane kept her makeup simple with black mascara, rosy cheeks, and a pale pink matte lipstick, rather allowing her daring dress to take center stage.

The 34-year-old looked a tad too dressed-down in jeans and a white T-shirt, at least in relation to his elegant girlfriend.

The Dawson's Creek actor also sported an unshaven beard, although he did smarten up the look slightly with a black tailored blazer.

Diane was promoting her new film based on Twilight author Stephenie Meyer's runaway hit book The Host.

The romantic sci-fi film tells the story of parasitic alien creatures that invade the mind and body of their human hosts.

Diane plays The Seeker, who oversees the takeover of Mel Stryder - played by Saoirse Ronan - a rebel soldier.

Diane admitted prior to filming that she was a fan of the Twilight series.

'I actually happen to be a big Twilight fan, which I’m not embarrassed to say,' the star told Flare. 'It sort of appeals to my inner teenage girl.'

The actress described her character in the new film as multi-layered.

'She’s so complex,' said Diane. 'She has that Stepford Wife-y kind of niceness yet there is so much more underlying there: rage and anger.'
