But Vanessa Paradis wasn’t so eager to flaunt those famous cheekbones as she arrived on the set of her new movie on Wednesday.
The 39-year-old went bare-faced as she showed up to the New York City location, wearing her brown locks tied up in bun on top of her head.

But onlookers didn’t get to see much of that gap-toothed smile, she used her neck embellishment to cover up her lower face before she entered hair and makeup.
Clearly feeling even more insecure about her un-groomed appearance later, she threw on a long hooded black coat.

Later on, she may have looked almost unrecognisable with a mousy wig, but those cheekbones were a complete giveaway.
She was seen filming a seemingly intense scene with Transformers actor John Turturro as they filmed an outside.

Fading Gigolo tells the tale of a man who becomes a professional gigolo as a way of making money to help his cash-strapped friend Murray, played by Woody Allen.
With Murray acting as his manager, the pair quickly find themselves caught up in a series of dramas to do with both love and money.

Also starring Sharon Stone, Liev Schreiber and Sofia Vergara, the movie is scheduled for release in 2013.Vanessa also seems to be in spiritual mood following her split from Johnny Depp earlier this year.
She told W Magazine: 'I'd like to believe in [the afterlife]. It’s better to think there’s something else after than nothing, you know? But I don’t believe it exists, I’d like to think it exists.

She also revealed that she doesn't believe in the term soulmate - revealing: 'The fact of putting a title on it, whether it’s your husband or your wife or your soul mate, then it seems like you know the end of the book. And I don’t like to know the end of the book or the movie.
“But I mean it’s beautiful when one day someone tells you you’re their soul mate – it makes you feel good.”
The pair had been together for 14 years, and had two children - but sadly split up in June.
